LPN or Medical Assistant | Urgent Care

Casual - varied shifts both weekends and weekdays.  Potential for 12-hour shifts from 7:15AM to 7:30PM.

Position Details

Casual position. Working a variety of shifts on an as-needed basis.

Current Offerings:

Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $19.66/hour (LPN); $18.62/hour (MA) – higher with prior experience!

Job Summary

Provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits. Communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers.  Assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed in a timely and efficiently. 

 

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

 

Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA):

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
