We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee the daily nursing activities within our facility. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of quality care for our residents. The Nurse Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing Services and nursing staff to foster a supportive and effective care environment.

Key Responsibilities: Supervisory & Administrative Functions: Oversee daily nursing operations in accordance with relevant regulations and facility policies. Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date reference materials and ensure compliance with the Nursing Service Procedures Manual. Participate in facility surveys and quality assurance programs. Personnel Management: Ensure adequate staffing levels of licensed nurses and nursing assistants. Delegate responsibilities and monitor performance of nursing staff. Address personnel grievances and maintain a positive work environment. Facilitate training and development for nursing staff. Nursing Care Functions: Ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and implemented for residents. Provide direct nursing care as needed and monitor resident conditions. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided. Ensure compliance with medication administration and safety protocols. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and infection control measures. Monitor compliance with resident rights and confidentiality policies. Qualifications: Must possess a current RN license in Ohio. A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and quality care standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to make independent decisions and manage stress effectively. Physical Requirements: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Capable of responding to emergencies and assisting in the evacuation of residents if necessary.
