Crouse’s Erie Blvd. Outpatient Addiction Treatment facility is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide treatment and services for individuals with substance use disorders.
Pay Range: $18 - $34.66/hour based on verified education and experience
Available Schedule 5:00am - 1:30pm w/rotating weekends holidays and other shifts assigned
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position Responsibilities:
+ Administers daily medication in accordance with Opioid Treatment Program policies and medical protocols using Methadone, Suboxone, and Subutex.
+ Accurately follows State and Federal regulations when administering medications.
+ Properly obtains required documentation from patient medical records to support all authorization requests.
+ Provides direct patient care with automated dispensing system, and maintains pump set up prior to dispensing.
+ Organizes and accurately maintains daily reports to track dosing.
+ Assists with preparation of pre-pours of methadone and Suboxone for delivery to patients at the Justice Center.
+ Monitor vital signs for dose adjustments, and assist in medical office to coordinate guest doses, confirming doses, and ensuring all pertinent information is recorded.
+ Reconciles inventory daily with RN team, and complies with all safety standards required for distributing and storing controlled substances.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State without restrictions
+ Minimum of two (2) years experience as an LPN in an Outpatient or Inpatient clinical setting.
