LSS Project Engineer II
We have an opportunity for a LSS Project Engineer II to join us at Honeywell in Bucharest, Romania. To be successful in this role is to implement engineering solutions on customer site, for: Process Control, Safety Instrumented Systems, Human Machine Interface, system/network upgrades on industrial process automation projects, in various industries like: Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Specialty Chemicals, etc. The scope of the assignments might also include 3rd party system integration, SCADA, PLC programming and System engineering. The engineer will aim for the successful completion of the project within budgeted time, cost and required quality. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.

Key responsibilities:
Quality input checking: Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.Documentation: Creates the Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Detailed Design Specification (DDS), based on Honeywell templates and standards.Execution: Executes work assignment, at the appropriate standards and quality in order to implement Process Control Strategy, collaborate with engineers from Safety Integrated Systems, Human Machine Interface design, DCS and Network teams.Customer facing: Participates to Kick Off Meetings with customers, conducts internal testing, participates in FAT and SAT sessions with customers. Represents Honeywell in all customer interactions according to Honeywell values.Site activities: Takes part in Commissioning/start-up and system upgrades activities at customer site. Implement system upgrades or modifications, on process/off process. Implement online system changes to live plant without compromising process safety and operation.Project tracking: The engineer makes sure the scope and schedule are understood and followed.Solution development: Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.Team collaboration: Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.Reporting: Reports progress and technical problems and / or changes to project lead engineer or Project Manager.Key skills and qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor / Master of Science Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Preferred specializations: Automation and Computers, Informatics, Cybernetics, Electronics. Experience: 3+ years of experience in PLC Programming, Automation Industry, Control System & HMI or any other relevant experience in the Automation and Industrial area. Experience in Information Technology, TCP/IP Networks, SCADA and 3rd Party Integration. Proven experience with any of the programing languages for PLCs (Ladder diagram, Function Block diagram, Structured Text or Sequential function chart).Project experience: Proven experience in maintaining the quality of deliverables on multiple projects. Strong diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, trouble shooting, management of priorities and self-direction. Proven experience on multiple industrial sites such as installation, commissioning, maintenance.Considered a plus:
Responsibility: Proven experience of working without supervision.Leading: Experience leading small project teams.Knowledge with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft related technologiesCISCO Certified Network courses (Cisco's CCNA)Knowledge of installation and maintenance of Operating systems; Virtual machines and Hypervisor platforms experienceTroubleshooting skills to resolve basic network and application or system integration issuesWorking experience with TCP/IP networks (network/device configuration)Our offer:
