Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure that all operations and commodity specific objectives are met. Emphasis on collecting and analyzing data in preparation for LTA/MTA negotiations, managing cost reduction initiatives, including engineering, and low-cost sourcing is essential. Support Global strategic sourcing initiatives for machining commodity across the interiors business units.Responsible for supporting commodity cost reduction goals through collaboration with Engineering for technical change cost solutions.Support ongoing work transfer projects by working with cross functional teams to pull and analyze all required data to support the WT. This includes pulling technical data, ability to understand the tech data.
 

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Ability to analyze RFQ’s / RFP’s to assist leadership to make award decisions. Experience to support Gated SCM process in support of savings transition projects.Create and lead RFQ’s / RFPs in support of Work Transfer projects.LTA/MTA Negotiations and Procurement ExperienceExperience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts

Desired Skills:

SAP and Teamcenter experience is highly preferredExperience in Aerospace IndustryAbility to wok with LCC team and suppliers to drive negotiations to completions.

 

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Position can be accomplished remotely, however, some compensated travel may be requiredMostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PMAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
