The (skilled) Nutrition Team Member position is responsible for the efficient operation of equipment and production of high-quality products in the nutrition department, while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safe work practices as required.
Minimum Requirements
+ Must be 18 years of age
+ Must have work experience in a manufacturing environment or team leadership position
+ Mechanical skills/aptitude
+ Strong time management and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated ability to motivate others
+ Must be able to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing, and to complete required documentation both in written and electronic form utilizing the English language
+ Must have demonstrated computer proficiency with general business software (i.e. Microsoft) and operational systems (i.e. SAP or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
+ Prior cheese and/or dairy foods manufacturing experience
+ Familiarity with manufacturing software system working with touch screens
+ Experience in machine operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position will be exposed to a production operations environment that includes both wet and dry production areas with loud noise and varying degrees of temperature from freezer to extreme heat. Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods. Climbing of stairs, standing and walking, bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and carry upwards of 55lbs. may be required.
