POSTING FOR ONSITE INTERVIEWS AT HIRING EVENT: WED 2/5/25 In order to be considered, you must apply no later than 5:00pm CST Monday, 2/3/25 The (skilled) Processing Team Member position is responsible for the efficient operation of equipment and packaging of high-quality products in the processing department, while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safe work practices as required. Minimum Requirements + Must be 18 years of age + Minimum six months prior manufacturing experience + Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language + Ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments or corrective action as necessary + Action oriented and the capacity to drive for results + Ability to share knowledge and to train others + Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs + Basic math skills to be able to perform mathematical functions + Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously + Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures + Ability to maintain clean work area according to good manufacturing processes + Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts Preferred Qualifications + Prior cheese and/or dairy foods manufacturing experience + Familiarity with manufacturing software system working with touch screens + Experience in machine operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment Physical Demands and Work Environment This position will be exposed to a production operations environment that includes both wet and dry production areas with loud noise and varying degrees of temperature from freezer to extreme heat. Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods. Climbing of stairs, standing and walking, bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and carry upwards of 55lbs. may be required.
