This role is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday.

 

What you will do as a Lube Technician:

 

Regularly lubricate all machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and checking fluid levels. Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain accurate records of all lubrication and maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Assist with diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues as they arise. Keep track of lubrication supplies and ensure timely reordering to prevent shortages. Work closely with mechanics, operators, and other team members to support overall maintenance efforts.

 

Experience and skills that will help you stand out:

 

Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a sawmill or industrial setting. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with various types of machinery and equipment. Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough lubrication and maintenance. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to think on your feet. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
