What you will be doing
As a Lubrication Technician you will be ensuring the operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment and completing preventative maintenance. You prioritize the safety of yourself, your coworkers, and the company.
Our Lubrication Technician is self-motivated and works with a sense of urgency. You work closely with Operations and the site’s many teams to increase mechanical uptime which is an integral part of the building process to produce high quality breads, buns, and rolls for customers all throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Main responsibilities
As a part of a Union environment, our team is looking for an individual that can be flexible during their probationary period. Specifically, with scheduling, you may be asked to work nights, weekends, or holidays, with appropriate notice. You may be asked to function within multiple areas of the plant. Here is a list of most of the responsibilities that may be asked of you:
Observes all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP and Global Food Safety practices. Properly lubricate, repair, and troubleshoot all plant production equipment Notify supervision when issues are found so that they can be rectified in a timely manner. Support of equipment installation to meet specifications Able to understand and complete Preventative Maintenance based on Preventative Maintenance schedules. Understanding of machine processing Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Identification of the appropriate tools and equipment needed to complete the job. Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum efficiency. Ability to work with vendors and/or contractors as required. Ensure spare parts or services are ordered as required. Make required changes or adjustments as required. Maintain organization of spare parts Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor. Complete special projects and duties as assigned. Continuously monitor and physically inspect production equipment. Dismantle and reassemble machines to lubricate or replace necessary parts. Complete work orders Maintain logs and records. Comply with all Integrated Management System policies and procedures. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.The targeted hourly pay rate range for this position is $35.42 per hour. Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

High School Degree or equivalent 1 – 2 years’ experience working in production or manufacturing 1+ years’ experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair required You have knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics You have the ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints
