The lubricants market in Cambodia is relatively small but competition is fierce with a number of local and international players crowding the market. Illicit cross-border smuggling and counterfeit is a major problem, particularly in frontier regions. Moreover, to have common understanding of the lubricant and basic knowledge of type of engines are still limited to end-consumers as well as mechanics and dealers are still limited to choose the right products.
