Lubrication Quality Control Specialist

Volt is immediately hiring for a Service Representative in Portland, OR.

\r\n\r\n

As a Service Rep, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEffective technical service to support product application at customer’s sites and create superior account satisfaction/retention\r\n\tManage multiple customers across given geography that utilize a variety of product lines with emphasis on greases and lubricants\r\n\tTroubleshoot any quality variances from recommended ranges\r\n\tAbility to identify continuous improvement projects and other cross sell opportunities within an account\r\n\tConduct business reviews with key account contacts communicating results, KPI’s, and improvement projects\r\n\tConsistent service of DuBois equipment repair/replacements/installations, chemical testing, inventory management, and providing customer with value-add personal service\r\n\tAbility to report, document communicate findings, abnormal conditions and offer recommendations\r\n\tDemonstrate a strong technical aptitude by resolving customer’s technical challenges and assist with improving processes\r\n\tEffectively communicate and work collaboratively with team members, as well as other cross functional support employees\r\n\tLearn and assist with , System Surveys and Cost Calculators\r\n\tMaintain a constant focus on work and vehicle driving safe habits\r\n\tEffectively enter all relevant information into Analytics or an equivalent data collection system including chemical test results, meter/setpoint readings, inventory level/dosage rate data, GPS location, and time to service\r\n\tTravel to assigned customer to conduct service audits\r\n\tMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience in a steel mill preferred\r\n\tDegree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent STEM sciences preferred\r\n\tStrong time management skills with an attention to detail\r\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills\r\n\tProficient in performing technical/mechanical on-site testing\r\n\tAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\r\n\tMust possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record\r\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office\r\n\tAbility to travel up to 5% including some overnight travel\r\n\tMechanical, Chemical, or Industrial experience preferred\r\n\tMetal Working Experience\r\n\tService experience in the chemical industry is preferred\r\n\tBasic Knowledge in electrical and pipefitting preferred\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
