LUBRICATION TECHNICIAN - ASHLAND SAWMILL
Irving Forest Products, Inc, a growing company on the leading edge of technology in the sawmill industry.
We are currently in need of a Lube Tech. We are looking for safety oriented, energetic individuals to join our team!
Qualifications:
Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate’s Degree Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment with sawmill experience is desirable Safety-oriented Self-motivated hard worker Comfortable working alone Desire to work with the best technology in the industry Applicants need to be able to work in a team environment that is committed to working safely while focused on production High mechanical aptitude
Key Responsibilities:
Daily greasing and oiling of production equipment Maintaining oil level in Hydraulic and Circulating oil systems Changing oil filters and breathers Machine Troubleshooting Installing lubrication equipment (hoses, tubing, fittings lube pots, etc.) Repairing oil leaks Being responsible for lubrication storage areas Monitoring the lubrication related reliability metrics Installation of automatic lube dispensers and lube lines Execute Preventative Maintenance/time-based work orders, schedule recommendations & changes Collect oil samples as required
