*Lung Transplant/Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (3-309-1226)* The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a full-time pulmonologist and critical care physician to join our expanding team. This hybrid position will cover our MICUs at the University of Maryland Medical Center Downtown and Midtown Campus locations, as well as participate in our inpatient and ambulatory pulmonary practices and may include our advanced lung disease service which cares for pre- and post-lung transplant patients. The lung transplant program is centered at the University of Maryland Medical Center and is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals focused on providing exceptional care to patients with critical lung illnesses and developing cutting-edge treatment. *Responsibilities:* * Provide care in MICUs at the University of Maryland Medical Center Downtown and Midtown Campus’. * Participate in inpatient and ambulatory pulmonary practices. * Contribute to the lung transplant program. * Engage in teaching and clinical research activities. *Rank, Salary and Benefits:* * Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, depending on qualifications and experience. * Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is$195,306 (min) and $330,000 (max). The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the departmental faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
