Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, meets the communication needs of the patient and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. Must have a current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse issued by the State.
2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire.
4. Minimum one year experience in an Acute Care preferred.
5. Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred.
