Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. \nLocated on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. Hotel Website, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest\n\nClassification: Full-Time \nShift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.\nPay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.\n\nWhat will I be doing?\nThe LXR Supervisor provides guidance and leadership as the Front of House Supervisor and ensures consistent quality of customer service is provided to all guest in accordance with Hilton and LXR Standards.\nAs our Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:\n\nAssign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability\nRespond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nSupport and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints\nSchedule, assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, inform and train team members\nMonitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance\nMonitor lobby/front drive traffic and adjust staffing accordingly\nRoom assignments, room changes, room upgrades for day of and future reservations\n\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nSince being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
