**Job Description**

We are looking for a motivated M&A Associate to join our M&A Transaction department in Danfoss Group M&A and Strategy.** This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions that support Danfoss’ strategic growth ambitions

At our offices in Copenhagen or Nordborg, you will join a diverse team of talented colleagues with broad academic backgrounds and expertise. Together, we drive M&A advisory projects and strategic technology investments while also targeting startup and growth companies to expand Danfoss’ innovation portfolio.
**Job Responsibilities**
As an M&A Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of M&A and strategic investment tasks, including:
+ Participating in various M&A transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
+ Leading or supporting workstreams in due diligence processes.
+ Preparing transaction mandates and presentation materials for executive management.
+ Developing financial models, valuations, and deal structures.
+ Supporting business plan follow-up and reporting for portfolio companies.
+ Identifying and analyzing target companies based on strategic investment themes.
+ Contributing to cross-functional corporate development projects, including post-merger integration.
**Background & Skills**
We imagine you have a relevant educational background within economics, finance, business administration, or a similar field, combined with a strong interest in M&A and strategic business development
**You bring:**
+ A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, valuation services, capital markets, or strategy consulting/advisory roles with exposure to transactions, corporate strategy, or financial analysis.
+ Strong financial capabilities, with proven skills in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis.
+ A solid analytical mindset and a structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
+ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
+ A proactive, self-driven attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
