The Corporate Development team is looking for a dynamic and strategic M&A Integration Sr. Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Squarespace's inorganic growth strategy. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead our M&A integration practice, driving both pre-merger planning and post-merger execution to ensure seamless transitions and maximum value realization.
You will work cross-functionally with executives and key stakeholders across finance, HR, legal, and product teams to develop and implement best-in-class integration strategies. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about delivering successful integrations that drive business impact.
You will report into the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development in our New York office. This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days per week in our NY office.
You'll Get To… Lead and develop the M&A integration strategy and planning process with functional leaders and program management resources to ensure seamless alignment with business objectives Engage in early due diligence for acquisitions to understand the strategic objectives and provide an early assessment of integration planning and risks Design and execute a comprehensive project plan which includes all workstream and functional team tasks to achieve our strategic objectives, as well as managing the day-to-day integration efforts Define, track, and communicate key performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability while proactively identifying and escalating potential risks or roadblocks. Establish and refine best practices for M&A integration by developing and contributing to a long-term playbook that drives continuous improvement and efficiency. Support broader project management initiatives during periods of lower demand by assisting with process improvements, documentation enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance team and department effectiveness.
