M&A Tax Director

As a Director, M&A Tax here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in\nour global tax team, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring our tax\ncompliance aligns with our mission. In this role, you will be accountable for guiding\nand managing the M&A tax function and strategy, ensuring compliance with\ntax laws and regulations, and optimizing the company's tax position in relation\nto mergers and acquisitions. You will report directly to our Sr Director, Tax and you\nwill work out of our Charlotte location on a Hybrid work\nschedule.

In this role, you will impact the company's financial success by providing\nexpert tax advice and guidance on M&A transactions. You will work closely\nwith cross-functional teams to identify tax risks and opportunities, develop\ntax-efficient structures, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. Your\nexpertise in M&A tax will be crucial in navigating the complexities of tax\nimplications in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide and manage the M&A tax\nfunction, including tax planning, due diligence, structuring, and integration.Provide tax advice and guidance on\nM&A transactions, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Work with cross-functional teams to\nidentify tax risks and opportunities in M&A deals.Develop tax-efficient structures and\nstrategies to optimize the company's tax position.Manage relationships with external\ntax advisors, government tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 8 years of experience in\ntax.Strong knowledge of tax laws and\nregulations related to mergers and acquisitions.Experience in managing tax compliance\nand reporting for M&A transactions.Excellent thoughtful and\nproblem-solving skills.Strong guiding and team management\nskills.

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting,\nFinance, Juris Doctor or a related field. Master's degree in Taxation (preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferredExperience in a multinational company or\nprofessional services firm.Strong business acumen and strategic\nthinking.Excellent communication and\npeople-oriented skills.Ability to work effectively in a\nfast-paced and dynamic environment.Dedication to continuous learning and\nprofessional development.
