About this opportunity:

 

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Marketing & Communications Operations Manager to drive the strategic and tactical marketing operations within Ericsson Business Area Cloud, Software and Services Marketing and Communications (BCSS M&C). As M&C Operations Manager you will have a key role advising and supporting the Business Area M&C Head and the leadership team by driving M&C operational excellence and unit internal operations, including business and financial performance management, campaign data analytics, competence readiness, governance, compliance, and agency management for the unit and in alignment with the Group’s, BA and Global M&C organizations policies and directives. BCSS M&C Operations create and implement best practices and ways of working to fulfill strategy execution.
The ideal candidate brings a track record of driving and implementing operational initiatives. You are equally comfortable to work hands on with the organization as on strategic level and have the capabilities to think new, push boundaries and utilize the advantages of digitalization and tools like AI to improve efficiency. A successful candidate should have the ability and readiness to contribute to cross-organizational operational development and global collaboration within the M&C Operations community and beyond. You will work in close cooperation with the Group Functions M&C (GFMC) Operations team, other Business Area and Market Area M&C Operations roles and other colleagues, to share good and innovative practices, ensure consistency in the global processes and ways of working across all units, and define business requirements. The position reports to VP, Head of M&C Business Area Cloud Software & Services, and is part of the unit leadership team.

 

What you will do

 

Excel operations processes, implementing ways of working and improvements for efficiency, business impact and excellence.Steer target setting with business performance OKRs and follow-up, and constantly progress the unit’s data driven approach.Analyze marketing analytics and provide marketing with actionable insightsMake financial forecasting and follow-up on M&C investments to ensure financial control in cooperation with the Finance team and guide own unit on financial investments, ways of working and compliance.Support BCSS M&C Head with analysis, meeting and presentation preparations and material.Plan and prepare BCSS M&C Business Reviews with BCSS’s Leadership Team and manage feedback loop into functional strategy and processes.Prepare the unit Leadership team meeting agendas, including follow up on Actions Points.Manage compliance topics, including unit audits, risk assessments and contribution requests for BCSS, ensuring solid evaluation and process adherence in each step.Ensure M&C Operational strategies, directives, frameworks, and guidelines are implemented and followed.Assess unit competence needs and provide input to the global M&C competence plan. Support development and roll out of global M&C competence programs and drive unit specific initiatives. Advice unit in collaboration matters with agencies and the internal M&C Support Hub.Plan and prepare unit All Employee Meetings and support internal engagement.Actively contribute to the global M&C change, development, and strategy execution in areas of responsibility. Research, formulate, and implement good practices for M&C Operations.

Minimum qualifications and experience requirements:

 

University degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training or expertiseUnderstanding of marketing & communicationsExperience and/or robust understanding of financial reporting, target setting and follow upProficiency in written and spoken English

 

Preferred qualification & experience requirements:

 

Experience from stakeholder and project management, also on C-levelExperience from operations related tasksExperience from working in a dynamic and fast paced environmentConsulting experience, and/or Marketing agency experienceDriving AI transformation projects or tasksStrong power point skills
