Clover Leaf is looking for an M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Superintendent to coordinate onsite with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls trade subcontractors. This role ensures that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction work is installed safely, meets the highest quality standards, and aligns with project cost and schedule requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule all M&E construction activities, ensuring coordination of inspections, quality control, and job-site safety.

Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths for all M&E subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.

Lead M&E and controls installation efforts, facilitating problem-solving between subcontractors during construction.

Oversee M&E submittal review and ensure that fieldwork incorporates any required design changes.

Participate in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) coordination meetings to optimize system routings and update models with actual field installations.

Monitor and control activities of M&E subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contract documents, specifications, and safety regulations.

Track M&E scope procurement, scheduling, and Owner Furnished Equipment coordination.

Serve as the primary liaison between the client’s technical staff, consultants, M&E design engineers, and relevant inspectors.

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.

Prepare Methods of Procedures (MOPs) for high-risk and shutdown activities.

Assist in the integration, startup, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems.

Develop and manage project schedules, including four-week look-ahead schedules and pull-planning efforts.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, safety enhancements, and sequencing optimizations.

Develop and manage hazardous energy management protocols.

Effectively manage Fortis tools and equipment utilization to support project schedules.

Assist in other duties as assigned, relevant to the position’s and team’s objectives.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an M&E Coordinator or M&E trade supervisor.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Experience leading complex meetings with multiple stakeholders and ensuring follow-ups.

Expertise in reading blueprints, construction documents, and coordinating systems start-up, testing, and commissioning.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook) and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6).

OSHA 30 certification.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to read and/or speak alternative languages (e.g., Spanish) is beneficial but not required.
