Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, practical experience, and a valid E&M Engineering license. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various electrical and mechanical systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment and systemsConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on E&M systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipmentRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprintsEnsure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulationsCollaborate with other technicians and engineers on complex projectsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performanceRespond to emergency calls and provide on-call support as neededAssist in the development and implementation of energy-efficient solutionsStay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in E&M engineering

Qualifications:Valid E&M Engineering licenseAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in E&M systems maintenance and repairStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, codes, and standardsProficiency in using various diagnostic tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions

Preferred Skills:Experience with building automation systemsKnowledge of HVAC systems and controlsFamiliarity with energy management and conservation techniquesCertification in specialized areas (e.g., HVAC, PLC programming)
