Inviting applications for the role of Manager, General Accounting
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures.
• Work closely with other Accounts Departments (AR and AP) to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accurately

Responsibilities
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures
• Work closely with other Accounts Departments (AR and AP) to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accurately
• Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – communicate regularly to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQ’s (internally /or externally)
• Review and analyze output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy-related to general accounting, Reporting, Narratives
• Maintaining the hygiene of Reconciliations keeping a tab on open items
• Understand the SOX Regulations and ensure adherence
• Act as first point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues on time and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate Degree in Finance (M.COM etc.) with ICWA or CPA. OR Qualified Chartered Accountants (Managers and Non-Managers)
• For any Manager, all the above with >relevant years of experience managing a team of >=15 people.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Relevant years of experience in Financial Reporting and General ledger accounting (Has worked on Wire-outs, ACH, checks, receipts, bank transfers, Inter-company, journals, Bank Reconciliation, etc.)
• Relevant years of experience in trend analysis for both PL and BS.
• Some experience in being able to assist with disclosures for audit/Stat audit
• Relevant years of experience in SAP ECC R3P or S4 Hanna.
