CTI End User Services Collaboration Engineering Lead Analyst – Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft SharePoint Server, Microsoft M365 SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive, Microsoft Azure Power Automate and Power Platform Applications and Services Architecture and Infrastructure. Subject Matter Expertise should also include ancillary platform management tools to govern, control and report on M365 (e.g., SharePoint Advanced Management, Purview), knowledge of M365 Copilot product spaces and, SharePoint hosted business application (SharePoint) platform components, design, architectures and tools along with SharePoint Administrative functions and tools such as PowerShell.
Job Description
This is a senior level analyst position responsible for leading a variety of application and services engineering activities including the design, release and support of SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, Power Automate and Power Platform product and service standards on-premises and in the cloud. The overall objectives of this role are to lead technical efforts as an individual contributor and subject matter expert; in the engineering and maintenance of the above mentioned technology platform and services spaces. This includes (and not limited to) development and maintenance of standards for the applications and services within the EUS Collaboration Engineering's purview (listed above). In addition, the Lead Analyst will be expected to engineer or co-engineer (with other CTI engineering teams) ancilliary products and/or platforms used to manage, govern, and secure business data used and stored on our Collaboration Platforms (e.g., information security, governance, compliance and reporting platforms and utilities) as directed by CTI EUS management and technology strategic directives, and perform as a lead SME in the TDLC lifecycle of the engineered product and service including the acquisition and deployment of hardware,
software and application infrastructure and cloud vendor services and technologies within our engineering spaces in coordination with cross functional technology teams.
The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for owning and leading a variety of engineering project activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objectives of this role are to design, proof out and implement collaboration platforms and services as required and, lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all
projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap.
• Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals and comply with the firm's Information Technology, Security, Compliance and Regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Define, recommend and implement necessary system enhancements as needed to deploy new products and process enhancements.
• Define, recommend and implement product customization where necessary for Citi systems integrations.
• Assist with Production issue triage as needed, to help identify problem causality, business impact and root causes.
• Exhibit knowledge of how CTI Collaboration Engineering's specialty areas contribute to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services towards solving problems.
• Advise or mentor junior team members.
• Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients
and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior,
conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Project Management experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
