M3P Product Management Senior Advisor - Express Scripts - Hybrid

Description of Position:

The Product Management Senior Advisor is responsible for supporting the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3) solution.  The ideal candidate will have a broad-based knowledge of Regulated Markets/PBM operations, strong product management experience, the ability to influence and drive change, and skilled in project management.  This position will ensure compliance with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Inflation Reduction Act and Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, provide subject matter expertise to internal/external stakeholders, deliver presentations in account team/client forums, and ensure metrics and performance guarantees are met. 

Position Details:

Manage vendor relationships including contract requirements and SLAsLead vendor oversight, meetings, and project managementReview and provide strategic direction guidance/regulations to maintain complianceBe the Subject Matter Expert and capability advocate with cross-functional areas of the organizationOversee the product development life cycle leveraging agile methodology, partnering with Business and Technical Product Owners to communicate, document, and prioritize business needsAnalyze trends and develop recommendations to ensure client needs, compliance metrics, and/or internal support is metCreates project scope, project plan, tracks project deliverables, and communicates project statusEnsure internal/external policies and procedures are documented, maintained, and followedDevelop and deliver training to clients and internal resourcesUnderstand and use system tools to research and resolve issues and concernsCross-train and support other team initiatives where appropriateExhibit problem solving capabilities in a complex environment and make specific recommendations with rationale to leadershipParticipate in cross-functional projects or work teamsAbility to appropriately interact with clients/account teams including:Day-to-day contact for issue resolutionCommunicate information about area of expertise to clientsManage account team expectations and ensure appropriate follow-up

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience preferred.5-10 years work experience, preferably in product management or project management.Familiarity with PBM industry and operationsExcellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate execution of initiativesExperience in managing capabilities in Regulated Markets preferredSkilled in review and interpretation of complex guidance and regulationsAbility to see and apply business needs outside of one’s own work areaAnalytical and detail oriented in all work activities/tasks, with a strategic perspective to enable the translation of metrics into trends, identification of improvement opportunities and root causeExcellent presentation skills and experience presenting complex information in an understandable way to various audiencesEffective communication skills with experience communicating with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at various levels of managementStrong learning skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing environmentAbility to see business needs outside of one’s own work areaAbility to execute tactics under a strategic visionProficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
