Capolinea is our fine-dining, signature restaurant that spans traditional Italian and contemporary American cuisines serving delectable handmade pastas, prime-cut steaks and tableside martini service.
\nThe ideal candidate will have previous hosting or serving experience in a fine dining restaurant, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a background in delivering high-end service.

\n\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs Maître D, you would be responsible for the smooth operation of the designated restaurant(s) on the floor level by upholding the service standards and supervising the service team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nEnacts smooth preparation of the service by leading the daily briefing as well as the successful end of service/the restoration of the dining room\nTakes, monitors and optimizes reservations; prepares the seating plan; greets and escorts guests to tables in restaurant\nEnsures that the team has resources and equipment sufficient for the proper functioning of the shift\nRegulates flow of service/acts as liaison with the culinary team by adopting an attitude that is both responsible and professional\nDistributes tasks and activities related to service according to the staff present and the expected clientele; intervenes if the clientele is unhappy with any task or activity undertaken by the team\nMonitors the reception area and the orderliness of the point of sale system; visually supervises events occurring during service\nHas knowledge of all the dishes on the menu, as well as all the beverAssists the restaurant leadership in managing administrative and operational tasks\nWhat are we looking for?
