24-28 per hour commensurate based on experience | Rochester, NY, USA | Hourly | Full Time Position Summary Provides psychological services to Day Services participants, as well as consultation and any required clinical supervision related to the provision of psychological services or other habilitation plan components for which responsible. Functions as an Interdisciplinary Team (IT) member and assuring compliance with all applicable to program's standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Provides Psychological Assessments on all program participants as needed and assigned following the format established by the Program. + Assists in the development of objectives and outcomes to address psychological problems or needs and to maximize assets or strengths for inclusion in the individuals' habilitation plan in collaboration with relevant IT members. + Provides or assures psychological services to achieve Day Hab objectives. Such services shall, at least: + Develop new or strengthen existing adaptive behaviors and modify maladaptive behaviors to maximize intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning. + Provide consultation to program participants families and other IT members. + Be provided directly with the Day Habilitation participants and indirectly with other people who are concerned with the individual, particularly with the place of residence. + Serves as a role model for individuals. Interacts with others in a way which will assist individuals in developing behaviors, skills, and attitudes necessary for successful community living. Maintains a neat appearance, hygiene, and grooming. Promotes positive behaviors and interactions with all individuals. + Participates in all Service Plan Reviews and Team Meetings as requested. + Fulfills all record keeping and documentation requirements. + Participates in weekly staff meetings. + Performs all other duties relevant to the position and notifies Community Integration Coordinator of obstacles to achieving responsibilities. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QMRP). Requires a master's degree from an accredited program in a field of psychology and who has at least one year of experience in the assessment of the developmentally disabled individual and development of behavioral programs for the developmentally disabled. May be required to meet LAI's Vehicle Operator Requirements.
