MAC Manager

BGIS is looking for a MAC Manager to join the team in Remote, US.

The MAC Manager is responsible for planning and delivering facility moves, adds, or changes as well as facility planning projects. The MAC Manager leads others positively exemplifying BGIS values.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIIES 

Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.  Resolve issues, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.  Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.

Moves, Adds, & Changes Management

Plan and deliver facility move, add, or change as well as facility planning projects.  Research and liaise with vendors to obtain quotes. Provide recommendations on preferred vendor.  Prepare cost estimates for assigned projects.  Determine and prepare resource requirements.  Create schedules and monitor progress against timelines.  Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors. Monitor work progress to ensure completion.  Ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budget, and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.  Assist with furniture installation and office decommissioning. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES

Associate degree in architectural technology, construction technology, engineering technology or other relevant studies or equivalent work experience. Minimum two years' experience in project coordination work.  Minimum 1 year experience specifically with facility moves, adds, and change, and facility planning project work experience.  Strong project coordination and organizational skills. Ability to deliver non-technical projects such as moves, adds, and change projects according to requirements, on-time, and within budget.  Attention to detail and skills to develop accurate cost estimates. Scope understanding to determine project requirements accurately. Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.  Successful builder and manager of client relationships and expectations.  Ability to influence others to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.  Vendor performance management and monitoring. Focused client service orientation.  Continuous improvement and quality mindset along with desire to seek and incorporate best practices and technologies to optimize program delivery and value to the client.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications along with ability to quickly learn new applications. AutoCAD

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIROMENT  

Ability and willingness to travel within the United States. Current valid driver’s license and ability to provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office with reimbursement. Requires working at client sites on evenings and weekends.

BGIS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location.  

The annual range for this exempt position in the US is $80,000-$95,000. 

A candidate’s salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
