Job Summary Details:
The Stadium Machine Blower Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining blower equipment to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the stadium. This role is essential in providing a clean and welcoming environment for all stadium visitors and events.  

Pay:  $19.10 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

 

Shift:  Night Shift, hours and days vary depending on Events

  Basic Qualifications:
  •  Must be 18 years of age or older     •  Must have similar work experience •  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
 
Key Responsibilities: Operate machine blowers to clear debris, leaves, and other materials from seating areas, concourses, walkways, and other stadium facilities. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on blower equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries while operating the blower. Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for events, ensuring all areas are clean and presentable. Respond promptly to clean-up requests during and after events. Maintain a clean and organized storage area for blower equipment and cleaning supplies. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the stadium facilities supervisor. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Adhere to environmental regulations and stadium policies regarding waste disposal and cleaning practices.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and maneuver blower equipment and other cleaning tools. Capability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, especially during outdoor events. Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods, particularly during long events. Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for stadium events.

This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
