In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex problems in satellite operations and mission planning. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to create scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation. Key responsibilities include data preprocessing, model training and evaluation, deployment of AI systems, and continuous optimization of machine learning pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning – AI 3+ years of experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch Experience with Python – Django Experience with Jupyter Notebook Experience with ORTools (Linear, Constraint, Vehicle, etc. programming) Experience with GNN – General Model Development Desired Skills & Experience Experience with C++/C# is a plus Proficiency with Linux development environment Looking for someone very strong with Operational research Tech Breakdown 100% Machine Learning 80% AI engineering Daily Responsibilities 100% collaborating with the team 100% cross-collaboration with other teams in the IT department 100% mentoring and leading Junior, Mid, and Senior Developers on the team Benefits 401(K) Equity/stock options ($25K) Lots of room for growth Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Hybrid (2 day onsite / week) “No meetings” Day scheduled every Tues/Thus Paid Time Off (PTO) Professional development opportunities and continuous learning programs Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
