Job Summary
Perform predictive/preventive maintenance analysis to anticipate and circumvent equipment failures, enhancing uptime and reducing costs. Primary responsibilities include machine repair and troubleshooting, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Key Job Responsibilities
Performs specialized technical tasks required to support operations (e.g., IT development, research support, skilled trade) Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Prepare for new/relocated equipment installations by sizing, wiring, piping, ventilation, etc. according to incoming equipment requirements. Receive, rig, unload, transport, install, assemble, troubleshoot, and fine tune new/relocated equipment. Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs on existing equipment. Assist engineers in identifying worn or damaged parts that may be needed to complete the repair. Interface with and assist outside contractors, OEM’s and Technology Process Support groups, in all attempts to install new and repair or upgrade existing processes. Safely handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Interface with in-plant Computerized Machine Maintenance System to show status of work and time spent on job.Complexity
