Sr. Machine Maintenance Technician - Whitehouse, OH

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment, including but not limited to:
Electrical Systems Electronics CNC Controls PLC Logic Mechanical Pneumatics
Requirements and Tasks:
This position will support the Engineering Manager and the Maintenance Department in continual process improvements to increase safety and machine uptime.
High School diploma or GED Preferred Bachelor’s degree with focus in Electrical or Controls Engineering 5-10yrs years’ experience preferred as CNC Maintenance Technician Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals and electric motors and controls Preferred knowledge SAP-PM Knowledge and ability of rigging equipment and components.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
Understanding the value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
Ability to read blueprints and follow schematics Ability to read and understand operating procedures
Manufacturing Equipment:
Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update, and store them.
Familiarity with NC controls and servo circuits Experience with CNC machining, CNC grinding, or lasers
Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills, able to participate on project team and interface effectively
Manufacturing Safety:
Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing safety; ability to achieve safety and security requirements of manufacturing staff and work environment.
Mechanical Assembly:
Knowledge of various areas of mechanical assembly expertise, skills, and techniques; ability to perform mechanical assemblies and subassemblies and related tasks such as material procurement, process development, fabrication, and testing.
Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals and electric motors and controls is preferred
Robotics/Computer Controlled Machinery:
Knowledge of robotics technologies and computer applications working principles and operation manuals; ability to implement and operate them in an automated manufacturing environment.
Preferred knowledge in Siemens, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Seiko, DMG and Num controls. Ability to properly use oscilloscope is preferred Knowledge of Ethernet communications, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP
Industrial Automation/Automatic Control:
Knowledge of various automatic control systems, processes, and methodologies in a manufacturing environment; ability to design, implement and maintain automatic production systems/processes to improve productivity and efficiency, as well as minimize human intervention.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems:
Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize and resolve technical (mechanical, electrical, systems or operational) problems in a manufacturing environment.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed.
Productivity Orientation:
Knowledge of the factors that influence productivity and ability to maintain focus on organizational factors that maximize operational performance.
