- Duties require a high degree of skill to rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments; dismantle machines and equipment; layout repair parts; and perform skilled fitting and aligning of bearing, spindles and shafts, adjustment of feeding and limit mechanisms, gibs, and ways.
- Working knowledge of electricity necessary to perform tasks needed for basic testing, repairing, and installation.
- Requires necessary welding skills to perform basic maintenance tasks, as required. Must pass appropriate welding test.
