About our Endura Products Division

Overview

The primary purpose of the Moulder Operator (Trainee) is to learn all aspects of the Molders/ Wrap Lines, including safety, of oneself and crew to OSHA and Endura standards; quality per spec and production, and effectively execute to customer specifications.

What you will do:

Must meet all personal performance requirements.Must be able to receive and execute instructions from the Lead or Engineering and be punctual to the department.Demonstrate the ability to create and maintain a positive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude and reporting all personnel issues in the cell to the supervisor or lead.Demonstrate basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Demonstrate proper use of calipers and tape measure.Demonstrate the ability to properly execute all aspects of work order process including in feeds and out feeds of material.Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Moulder as well as RF gluer and basic functions of each machine in the area.Be able to explain the process from beginning to end.Demonstrate the ability to properly follow posted standard work instructions.Understand and be able to operate the scanner for production tracking.Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills including sending/receiving emails and basic typing skills as needed.Demonstrate a clear understanding of quality standards required to produce a good product.Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot small problems (configurations) within the cell.Demonstrate the ability to resolve minor inventory issues by contacting inventory personnel.Must be able to operate Wrap Line to create parts within spec and as instructed to per run schedule.Demonstrate the ability to accurately record production paperwork daily.Demonstrate the ability to completely change over on different P/N configurations and maintain good glue flow on applicators.Demonstrate the ability to adjust Wrap Line when material does not meet required specifications.Demonstrate the ability to set-up and adjust the glue flow and ensure wrapped material is completely even and sealed.Delegate tasks to crew members within cell to stay productive during down time.Demonstrate the ability to train crew members in every position within the cell.Demonstrate the ability to train and sign off employees on posted standard work instruction.Ensure all scrap is accounted for and reported properly.Minimal missed scans on production tracker.Must be able to understand all metrics displayed on production tracker.Strive to maintain a safe, clean work environment each day while increasing efficiency as machine runs.

What you will need:

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting12th grade completionAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and effectively work as part of a teamMust be able to read, write, and understand to interpret documents (like specs)Basic math skillsRead caliper, and a measuring tape to 1/32ndMust have hand-eye coordinationPrior experience with Lockout/Tagout Procedures, a plusAbility to lift 35 lbs

Working Conditions

Exposed to a normal factory environment (wood dust and aluminum) with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent.Must be able to withstand heat more than 95 degrees.
