Role: Machine Operator – Level 2 Location: Preston (PR2), Lancashire, UKType: Full TimePay Rate: £13.30 per hour Shift Rate: Additional 20% of basic salary Hours: Double Day shifts alternated weekly. Running 1 week on “earlies” 6.15am till 2.15pm (8hr day with one 30-minute lunch break) 37.5hrs per week. In this role you will operate and maintain machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates and understands the functions and basic mechanical workings of assigned machines under limited supervisionFollows work order instructions and performs labeling requirementsPerforms quality tests per ISO proceduresAdheres to productivity standardsComplies with all required safety practices and use of PPEContributes primarily through execution of defined processes and procedures but may make suggestions for process improvementResolves a variety of problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or proceduresTransmits and receives basic information related to role in order to carry out dutiesBuilds productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or teamLearns policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activitiesLearns and closely follows established processes and directionsReceives Direct Supervision for routine work, new projects or assignmentsTrains other team members directed by supervisor or lead.Follow Zebra shared values
Qualifications:
