**Job Description:** ***This position will start in Greenwood, MS but will transfer to Grenada by December 2026*** _The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals ._ **Duties and Responsibilities** + Set up and operate assigned equipment + May use computer to load printer software + Load/unload sealing and printing equipment with product and packaging material + Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required + Inspect and verify product according to quality standards + Work with Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment + Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation + Break down scrap packages + Able to work effectively within small teams + Accurately complete scrap tickets + Accurately complete daily production sheet + Accurately update hourly goal board + Maintain production pace and standards + Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area + Practice 5Ss **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Understand and follow verbal and written instructions + Basic math skills + Basic mechanical skills + Basic computer skills **Education and Experience Requirements** + High school diploma or equivalent + 0-1 years of machine operation experience **Physical and Weight Lifting Demands** _The physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
