Machine Operator 1 **Sedona Staffing Services** 0 Positions ID: 38031249 Posted On 11/07/2024 **Job Overview** Machine Operator 1 1st Shift: M-Th, 5AM - 3:30PM 2nd Shift: M-Th, 3:30pm - 2am Optional/Mandatory OT on Fridays Possible $20+/hour based on experience Summary: A person in the position usually reports to an area supervisor, who reports to the Manufacturing Manager. A Production Worker is responsible for producing, fabricating and/or assembling products and for setting up and maintaining an environment within which products may be produced. This is a safety sensitive position due to working with tube benders, drill presses, saws, fixtures, Danly electronic punch press, saws, band saws, hoists, sanders, grinders and other machines, tools and equipment. Could also be operating a forklift as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Set up all tools, appliances, benches, sewing machine, tube benders, band saws, drills presses, jigs, fixtures and materials needed to assemble and/or fabricate the assigned product. + Ability to operate power and hand tools and other machines such as drills, marvel band saws, cold saws, presses, tube bender machinery and other manufacturing machinery. + Measure, cut and/or move materials into position for fabrication or assembly according to design drawings and work order instructions. + Fabricate and/or assemble product. + Inspect all work done for overall quality and identify any errors.
