Machine Operator (1st Shift)

**Qualifications:**
**Knowledge and Skills**
+ Proven ability to assist with tooling changes on assigned lines.
+ Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer systems is preferred.
+ Ability to read and comprehend procedures and instructions.
+ Capable of performing visual inspections, with or without magnification tools.
**Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience required.
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
**Work Environment**
+ The role operates in a clean room environment.
+ Exposure to solvents, glue, and solder is required.
+ Position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the shift.
+ Must be able to repetitively lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
+ This position does not require travel.
**Scheduled Hours:**
+ 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
**Responsibilities:**
**Position Summary**
The Equipment Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex automated assembly machines. The role involves ensuring continuous machine operation by interpreting and responding to machine faults and performing repetitive tasks related to machine operation, with moderate attention to equipment.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Performs all essential duties of Equipment Operator I, along with the following responsibilities:
+ Adjusts machine parameters (within allowable limits) to maintain product quality and optimize machine efficiency.
+ Diagnoses and interprets machine faults, identifying root causes and resolving issues to prevent recurrence.
+ Performs minor machine adjustments, changeovers, and setups without requiring maintenance intervention. Assists with basic Preventive Maintenance (PM) and repair tasks under the guidance of a Technician.
+ Operates manufacturing lines, coordinating with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to required standards. Demonstrates flexibility to operate multiple or more complex machines as needed.
+ Collaborates with supervisors or coordinators to schedule work orders (WO) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks. Closes out WO/PM tasks in the appropriate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Actively participates in team meetings and problem-solving sessions to improve processes.
+ Mentors and trains junior team members as needed.
+ Processes Oracle Transactions (Backflushing) as required.
+ Supports overtime activities as needed.
**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
