**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The candidate will be responsible for operating rewinder and roller machines. This includes setting up the machines, performing change-outs, and replacing parts. The candidate will also be responsible for checking the machines, performing small repairs, and diagnosing any mechanical issues. Experience with troubleshooting is a plus. **Responsibilities** + Operate rewinder and roller machines + Set up machines and perform change-outs + Replace machine parts as needed + Check machines regularly for any issues + Perform small repairs on machines + Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in machine operating + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with hand tools + Ability to read a tape measure + Experience with machine building and assembly + Ability to read blueprints **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with machine maintenance + Experience with machine repairs and troubleshooting We offer full healthcare benefits and yearly raises. The plan is for the candidate to start at $17.50 per hour and reach $22 per hour after two years. Additionally, employees receive a $250 steel toe allowance each year. **Work Environment** The work environment is a non-climate controlled warehouse with three shifts available: 1st shift (5am – 1pm), 2nd shift (1pm – 9pm), and 3rd shift (9pm – 5am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.25/hr.
