Our client is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator – Manual Machinist to join their team in Tukwila, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing manual machining operations while supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, and repair of industrial valves, including Block Valves, PSV/SRV, and pneumatic/electric actuators. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow technical schematics, and a commitment to safety and precision.

The Day-to-Day:

Set up and operate manual machining tools to service and repair various types of industrial valves and actuators.Perform all machining tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and established quality standards.Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble, disassemble, and reassemble mechanical components.Complete required documentation for quality assurance, both manually and electronically.Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with company safety procedures during all operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.0 to 3 years of relevant experience in machining or mechanical repair.Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for detail.Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.Basic understanding of pressure systems and valve servicing in a production environment.Willingness to cross-train in other technical skills as needed.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including the ability to use web-based service documentation and tools.

Pay Rate:

$25.00 to $30.00 /hr
