What does it mean to be a Prysmian Production Line Operator?

Monitor extrusion line(s) while running to ensure quality/timely production of cables.Perform required quality checks to ensure cables are manufactured to quality specifications.Demonstrate proficiency in handling of all required testing equipment (calipers, OD tape, etc.).Meet daily output and quality requirements.Ability to distinguish color visually,Manufacturing cables in accordance with the Kanban.Communicate with shift Team Leader on daily production goals.Proactively report any production shortfalls, quality nonconformances, and equipment issues swiftly.Perform machine startups and changeovers as required.Loading and unloading of materials as needed (Lift up to 50lbs).Work in a team environment with coworkers to maximize output.Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company 6S standards.Ability to stoop, bend at the waist, stand, and sit as needed to reach product while working (up to 12 hours)Ability to have full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers for manipulation of product and work equipment.    Ability to lift to 50 lbs. on your own.Material handling (roll buffer reels up to 200lbs, roll GRP up to 800 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.)Maintain organization or materials, products, documents, chemicals, parts, mechanical equipment, production areas, etc.Must be compliance to all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements deemed necessary by position.Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.
