Our client, a prominent manufacturer located in Wheeling, IL is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join their team. This role involves setting up and operating machinery, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate punch presses and lathes according to job specifications and production requirements.Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and production efficiency.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and job specifications in English.Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices.Proficiency in tooling, materials handling, and general warehouse operations.Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
