The Role
Continually monitor machine operations to ensure accurate product measurements are maintained. Call maintenance or set up technicians as needed, make minor machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy, assist set-up tech in pre-maker-ready activities, maintain standard production rates, low waste and meet all stated customer requirements, complete all necessary documentation and reports, set up and adjust rewinders; remove product from rewind machine and box for shipping, weigh scrap from run and separate into bins, performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operating dutiesHigh level of manual knife preparation of cut fruits and vegetablesUse of high speed mechanical dicing and slicing equipmentSet up machinery and ensure all materials are readily availableEffectively monitor production equipmentAssist with food production as necessaryPerform appropriate duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain a safe and clean work spaceFollow established food and safety rules and regulationsUse of high speed mechanical dicing and slicing equipment QualificationsDesired Experience
1 year previous machine operation is preferredAbility to work in refrigerated environment, 36 degree to 40 degree for extended time periodsAbility to speak/understand and take direction in basic EnglishAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to stand/walk for long periods (approximately 2 hour spans)General Food Safety knowledgeMust be able to lift up to 50lbsHear from Charlie's employees
