**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position with two openings available on the 1st shift. You will be setting up and operating fill and seal packing machines, reading work instructions and production schedules, and ensuring quality control. Shift hours vary by shift, and there is a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate fill and seal packing machines + Read work instructions and production schedules + Operate packing machines + Place labels on products + Assemble cartons per specification + Inspect seals to ensure they are firm + Check weights and labels for quality + Place sealed cartons on pallets according to work instructions + Label finished boxes and pallets + Complete daily production schedules + Follow GMP guidelines for PPE + Perform documentation + Lift 50 lbs + Perform repetitive work + Sanitize and clean equipment + Open sacks and boxes, and dump and weigh in a bin **Essential Skills** + Experience as a machine operator + General production skills + Quality inspection experience + Packaging knowledge + Understanding of GMP and FDA documentation + Ability to lift 50 lbs + Experience reading and following work instructions + 1 year of previous manufacturing experience + Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks + Adherence to PPE guidelines **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be able to lift 50 lbs + Experience reading and following work instructions + 1 year of previous manufacturing experience + Ability to stand on their feet for entire shift and perform repetitive tasks + Adherence to PPE guidelines **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy a family-oriented work environment with opportunities for growth and cross-training.
