**Job Description**
**As a Machine Operator, you will operate advanced machinery—including winding machines, robotics, and heat treatment equipment—to create top-notch products. Your expertise will ensure all products meet rigorous quality standards while contributing to a fast-paced production environment.**

**Responsibilities:**
+ Set up and operate production cell equipment to produce springs within customer specifications and production schedules.
+ Select and manage robot programs according to production needs.
+ Monitor and optimize workflow through heat treatment, coating, and cooling processes.
+ Ensure proper tooling and changeovers are executed as per specifications.
+ Unload finished products, ensuring accurate quantities and proper identification.
+ Utilize bar codes for processing and maintain quality standards.
+ Achieve key performance indicators consistently.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal operation.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
+ Capability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
+ A minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience, particularly in machine operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Experience in mechanical assembly and using hand tools.
+ Proficiency in loading and unloading materials.
+ Strong inspection skills.
**Work Environment:**
**Step into a spacious, clean production facility equipped with industrial AC for your comfort. Our standard first shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times and opportunities for overtime.**
**Job Type & Location:**
**This is a Contract to Hire** position based out of **Minneapolis, Minnesota** .
