Our client, a manufacturing company in Chelmsford, MA is looking to hire a Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will need the ability to read technical documents such as: Blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals. Responsibilities for this position include checking parts and recording measurements using micrometers and calipers on the In-process Inspection Log.

The Day-to-Day:

Select tooling from the written process sheet and interpret the programming sequence.Make adjustments to machines as needed and perform minor repairs.Troubleshoot to identify major repair problems and bring them to the attention of appropriate personnel.Manage the machine to make sure that it is properly operating and producing parts efficiently.Follow proper material handling to avoid damage.Deburr parts while the machine is running.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.Must be proficient with mechanical tools.Basic computer and math skills.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$18.00 to $21.00 /hrMonday to Friday7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
