Our client, a leading third-party logistics company in Carlstadt, NJ, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser machines to produce custom projects according to customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate laser machines to create and customize projects per customer specifications.Engrave detailed and intricate designs onto a variety of products.Ensure the timely completion and on-time delivery of all projects.Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot issues with machinery and escalate problems to appropriate personnel as needed.Keep accurate records of work orders, production output, and machine operations.Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse safety protocols.Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.Basic computer proficiency and comfort with technology.Experience operating laser machines is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders.Strong attention to detail and the ability to measure and inspect accuracy of components.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.Physical stamina to walk, stand, bend, and stoop for long durations.
