Job Summary

The Case Pack Machine Operator will be responsible for operating one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment.  This position is responsible for production set-up, production changeovers, monitoring production runs, and maintains the required product inspection processes. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrate safe working practices in support of company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries. Understand quality requirements and ensure daily production meets or exceeds quality standards. Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices. Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency. Record daily production metrics (material verification, quantity produced, scrap, machine down time). Performs basic machine adjustments to ensure equipment runs efficiently. Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs; completes shop floor Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Profile High School graduate (equivalent GED) 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience (Preferred) Required Skills Familiar with Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch screen computers in a manufacturing setting (production menus, machine settings, line speed, resetting and resolving equipment faults/alarms) Experience in minor mechanical repairs (jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment) Experience in PM tasks (inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting, and correcting issues before they occur) Strong work ethic and commitment to consistent attendance Previous experience in Case Packaging Systems (Preferred) Work Environment Safety. Your safety is most important.  Proper training and PPE will be provided.  All employees are encouraged to share safety tips.  Some job tasks require walking or standing most of the time during the shift and may include bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling of material.  You must be able to occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds, within team lift guidelines.
