**Aerotek is hiring for Technical Machine Operator for a Manufacturing Company in Hernando, MS.** **6 month contract to hire, 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm)** **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain high-speed production lines + Achieve or surpass established production standards + Make equipment adjustments + Prepare processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers + Document production processes by completing logs, calculating statistics, and noting the receipt, flow, and return of materials + Complete production, productivity, inspection, downtime, and safety reports + Maintain quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections + Report production and quality issues by recording data and reporting unresolved issues to the supervisor + Inspect equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of production operations experience, particularly in a high-volume manufacturing environment + Experience in a high-speed line manufacturing or processing industry + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance + Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and standards, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods + Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation. + Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Lead experience is a plus + Ability to work independently **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
