ResponsibilitiesAssist operators with materials assigned to run equipment.Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.Train with operators to learn how to perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments.Read and interpret blueprints if applicable.Use moderately advanced measuring instruments.Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area).Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with measurement tools, machine operation, and production line (3+ years required).Blueprint reading skills.Proficiency with hand gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.Strong mathematical skills.Attention to detail.Experience in metal manufacturing.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with CNC machines and operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsBlueprint experience is a huge plus but not required.CNC experience preferred but open to mechanically inclined candidates and will train them into the role.Experience with Murata CNC Machines and Multi-spindle Screw machines is beneficial.Ability to utilize measuring tools and log inputs into the HMI screen on the machine.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a smoke-free facility. The environment is not climate controlled but doesn't reflect extreme temperatures. You will work in a newer facility alongside operators and production workers. The dress code requires slip-resistant steel-toed shoes (save receipt for reimbursement), jeans, and a work shirt with no holes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00
