Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC Press Brake (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf) and perform sheet metal fabrication. The role involves press brake, press break, forming, and bending of sheet metal. The ideal candidate will also be capable of operating punch press and laser machines within a manufacturing and production environment.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Press Brake (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf).Perform sheet metal fabrication, including forming and bending of sheet metal.Operate punch press and laser machines.Read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.Layout and load materials using basic math and hand-held measuring tools.Utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems.Enter instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.Set-up mills and lathes.Maintain machines in good working order.Perform re-work procedures as necessary.Understand and ensure finished product characteristics.Conduct lock out/tag out procedures.Essential Skills3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication preferred.Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment.Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery.Ability to read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.Competence in layout and loading materials using basic math and hand-held measuring tools.Proficiency in utilizing computer output from CAD/CAM systems.Skill in entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.Experience in setting up mills and lathes.Knowledge of machine maintenance and re-work procedures.Understanding of finished product characteristics.Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsMetalworking / Hollow Metal fabrication experience preferred.Experience with CNC manufacturing equipment preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
